Got milk?
We had a cookie marathon last Saturday. We had the oven on for nearly eight hours. I baked with my friend, her daughter, and her daughter's friend. We had a great time, coming up with about sixteen kinds before we were done. We send some to friends and relatives and give some to neighbors. When we were done we ordered pizza and collapsed into our chairs.
I only ate 3 cookies all day. Not bad, if I do say so myself.
The easiest were the poor man's turtles. Just a pretzel with a melted Rolo on top and a pecan.
You can see some of the before mess and the after RESULTS!
Cookie anyone? Got milk?

Good Morning Nan,
Oh my gosh, what are you trying to do to us this morning? LOL. I am hungry now for some of those delicious looking cookies. And I can't bake. I guess I'm up a creek without a boat paddle. LOL. I'm glad yall had a good time and enjoyed baking them. Three? Wow, you done very good. If that had been me, well let's just say I would have had a belly ache. LOL. Now one this is missing. A Cookie Pizza. I love Pizza especially the desert Pizza's. Thanks for teasing, ooops, sharing your cookies with us this morning. LOL. Take care my friend and have a great Thursday. May God Bless You and Yours.
Hugs,
Karen H.
P.S. I would need a gallon of milk to drink with all of those cookies. LOL.
Oh my God!!!
This is really a great sight. I never ever baked so many cookies. I would have exploded because I wouldn't be able to stop at 3.
Really great job done.
Wish you a relaxed day! Suzy

I wanna come to your house!! I'll bring my own milk. Can I, can I, huh, can I? My visions of sugar plums have become your table full of cookies!
Wow, that is certainly impressive!! Hope you had silpats or parchment or something so you didn't have to wash cookie sheets between all hose batches. That's me, always thinking about practicality LOL.
Janet.
PS. snow is "raining" from the sky
My goodness you had a fantastic marathon of cookie making. Everything looks so good.
Nan that is one awsome setup. Here I am feeling so behind and trying to drag myself up to do one thing and you have a table full. Can you send your friends my way.
What is a poor man's turtle??
I am so impressed and proud to know someone who still does marathon baking for the holidays!
Wow Nan! That is one heck of a lot of cookies! I felt good when I baked one batch of cut out sugar cookies -lol.
Yours look wonderful!
Penny
My goodness Nan, You are a wonder woman for sure!! That is a lot of baking!! It looks so Good!! Yummy! I bet the most fun was being with your friends and family! Hugs. Grams
Wow, look at all those cookies...especially the chocolate dipped ones. The Pottery Barn decorations are really nice, very snuggly, cozy, holiday style.
Alexandra
Oh thanks for the cookies. I thought that making 7 different kinds was pretty good. Look at you and all your glory! Do you ever make the Poorman's Chocolate Covered Pretzel? Same concept as the turtles only use a hershey kiss and an M&M. They make great fillers on a cookie display.
Love,
Julie
Holy cow! That's a cookie marathon!! What fun you must have had!
Sheesh Nan, I don't stop in for a couple of days and look at what you're up to LOL! Wow you have been a little busy bee - but look at the results - YUM. I think I'll stop on in for some cookies and milk!
Hugs,
Rose
Wow, you gals were busy! I love homemade cookies & you made so many different kinds too. It looks like you had a fun time doing it with friends.
