I adore doors!

I'm not sure when I became interested in pictures of doors but I find them interesting. The one in the upper left was taken in Italy. No, I didn't go there. Darn. My friend did and he took this with the water flowing up to the doorway. It also has cute window boxes. The two center ones are from Spain. The upper right one with the lace curtains is from France. The lower left and right ones are from Italy too.

I have also collected some calendar pictures of doors that need to be framed.

The lace curtain one was the first one I bought at an art fair.
Close up in Italy.
This one came from an art fair, as well. I thought it was very unusual. My friends say it looks a little scary. The more I look at it, it is kinda scary. It's never made it to the wall.

Good Evening Nan,
Well darn, I thought you had been to Italy and bought these pictures. LOL. They are beautiful doors tho. I love the French Door look myself. I don't have any, but who knows, maybe someday when my rich uncle gets out of the poor house, I can have them. LOL. The last one does look a bit on the scary side. It's probably one of them French E.T.'s. LOL. We are under a Freezing Rain Advisory for tonight and tomorrow. It is 30 degrees with a windchill of 15 degrees and the winds are really blowing out there. It will chill you to the bone to be out there very long. Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Nan,
I gravitate toward door and window pictures myself. If there is a window box all the better and a cat looking out the window makes it perfect. I bought a door calendar at Michaels this year..$.40, yup just 40 cents and the pix are beautiful altho the paper quality is poor. No framing these beauties.

Hi Nan,
So, nice to learn one more thing about you. What a great collection you have here. I must admit that bottom one does look scary, it actually looks like a scary face with big eyes...haaaa, but in my own creepy way, I like it! Ha. Thanks for sharing this great grouping.
Hugs,
Rose

Hi Nan,this is a neat collection. I like them all but for some reason I'm called to the blue one and as for the scary one I like it. It reminds me of a Halloween jack-o-lantern. Hugs, Linda

Nan, the last one is slightly scary. It almost looks like a very large mouth.

Love the other doors.

Hi Nan,
I like the pictures. In my opinion it is important to see the beauty everywhere and the architectural beauty and art is amazing. You made a great collection.
