My little vintage tree

I haven't posted a lot of Christmas yet. This is one of three trees that I have up in our home. This one I put in our home office. We always had tinsel garland on our tree when we were kids. I put colored lights on it but I did use the little ones since it's a small tree. I found the postcard reproductions and I thought they added to the look. Most of the ornaments came from Mom and a few I purchased at a local antique and flea market. The Barbie and Ginny doll were mine, the ballerina doll was my Aunts. Snoopy, I bought to represent my Bailey the beagle. I need to find an old toy truck for my husband. Of course, I had to add a Santa and a stuffed bear! I just absolutely love Santas.......and bears for that matter. I have always loved Christmas and I have great childhood memories of it.

Good Morning Nan,
Oh My, your ornaments are beautiful. I love the Barbie dolls. I still have my Barbie dolls from when I was a little girl. I even have a Ken and Ricky. My Ken is a talking Ken, but he doesn't talk anymore. I guess he's too old. LOL. Your tree in your home office looks just beautiful. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us. I always enjoy looking at pictures of what my blogging friends post. I don't have a digital camera, so if I post any, I have to take pictures with my cell phone. It doesn't take as good pictures as a Digital Camera does. And, I don't have a printer or scanner either. Oh well, maybe one of these days I'll have all of that. It is a cold morning here. It is 28 degrees with a windchill of 18 degrees. That's cold for this area. Well, take care my friend and have a great Thursday. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.

OOOOO, what a precious tree, Nan. It is just perfect...I love the vintage toys and, yes, a toy truck for hubby would be just perfect!
Beautiful daughter still has every one of her old dolls and someday she can use them like this.
Great tree, Nan....
hugs, bj

Nan,

I wanted a Ginny doll in the worst way, but never had one. I never wanted a Barbie, as I liked to "care" for my dolls. Also I think Barbie debuted closer to the end of my doll days. Beautiful tree!

Nan,

You crack me up. I don't have a garage, so I have to quickly log into my e-mail when I hear the back door. My husband spends as much time as I do with his forums for his model club, but somehow that is not the same as me visiting with women I will probably never meet. I love the visiting though.

The little tree is so cute! It has snowed here all day! Kelly called from work and she is stuck and will need a push to get out and come on home!! Hugs Grams

I love your little "old fashioned" tree. Looks like my childhood, too, especially "Ginger"! Thanks for sharing. Christy :-) <><
