To be 6 again!

Oh, yes. Oh, yes!

To Be 6 Again... A man was sitting on
the edge of the bed, observing his wife, looking at
herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was
not far off he asked what she'd like to have for her
Birthday. " I'd like to be six again", she
replied, still looking in the mirror. On the
morning of her Birthday, he arose early, made her a
nice big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then
took her to Six Flags theme park. What a day!
He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide,
the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Monster Roller Coaster,
She rode on everything there was. Five hours later
they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was
reeling and her stomach felt upside down. He then took
her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy
Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake. Then it
was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her
favorite candy, M&M's. What a fabulous adventure!
Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed
into bed exhausted. He leaned over his wife with a big
smile and lovingly asked, "Well Honey, what was it like
being six again?" Her eyes slowly opened and her
expression suddenly changed. "I meant my dress size,
you dumb ass ".
The moral of the story: Even when a man is
listening, he is gonna get it wrong.

My header shrunk????? Anybody know why? I looked it up in help but didn't get a good answer. Whawwwww

Good Morning Nan,
This is just too funny here. LOL. It's right tho. Most men don't know us women at all. I would love to be a "6" again. LOL. I mean't a dress size as well. I can't remember ever wearing a 6. Must have been when I was born. LOL. Hope you are doing okay today. I hope you haven't had any bad weather. Well, take care my friend and have a great Friday. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.

Good morning. You have me laughing like crazy here. I really needed that. I don't think I was ever a size 6, but I can dream. Have a wonderful day.

Hey Nan,
I wish I could help you with your header, but I still ain't figured all this stuff out yet. You might want to check your settings pertaining to your header. I wish I could be of more help. My friend Diane, of Diane's Place, has done all mine for me. I don't know if I'll ever learn all this stuff. Maybe someone can figure it out for you. Hey, you might want to check with Hootin' Anni. She is pretty good with that stuff. Her blog is all decked out. Well, take care my friend and I hope you get it straightened out. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.

Nan,
A lot of people have had header problems lately. It seems to be blogger, not typepad or wordpress.

Check with Mary @ dearlittleredhouse.blogspot.com. She seemed to get hers back.

Good luck,
Janet

Such a cute little joke! I love it.
Ask Mary at the Little Red House about your header....the same thing happened to her. Now her's is nice and large so she must know how to fix it.
hugs, bj

What a delightful little story! I think I'd like to spend the day like a six year old. Sounds like fun! I think I may do some of those activities with my children....for their benefit of course! Teehee!

Nan,
One thing I liked from the beginning when I started reading your blog was the header and well, your porch. Today my header is smaller too, not so much as yours but way smaller than previous. I worked so hard on it - it's disappointing.
Wanted to let you know I read in the blogger group help it has something to do with a change that blogger made - nothing we did. Seems quite a few people have the same problem. My daughter will check mine Monday for me. I'd be glad to pass along what I find.
