Change your time?

Did you change your clocks? You don't realize how many clocks you have until you have to reset them all. I almost forgot to go to lunch since the time was different. LOL What do you think about changing the time? I think it's silly.

I heard that there isn't really much electricity saved by changing the clocks...more used in the morning now since it is so dark outside. Go figure.....

The only thing I can figure is that the "other" time gave more light in the mornings, getting the kids to school....Now, we have more light in the evenings to enjoy summer...don't really like changing, tho. I'd just as soon have 1 time and forget it.

I thought you Hoosiers didn't do this. My uncle used to tease me about this. He's in Carmel, IN. It is worth the extra light in the evening, but confusing to my body. Which is pretty confused already, thinking I'm still 25! LOL Christy :-)<><

My mom lives out in AZ and they don't change their clocks, so last night she called me at 11 thinking it was 10. That was irritating, not because I don't love her, but because she talks forever and I didn't get off the phone until 12! I need my sleep! LOL

Let's face it ~ the world has changed dramatically since it was first introduced. I think we should leave it as it was intended to be - get up with the sun, begin your day, work hard, and then rest when day is done.

Good Morning Nan,
I did change my clocks up an hour and I just hate this time. I had rather be in the other time zone. LOL. I do enjoy the summer months of it staying daylight longer, but I hate having to lose an extra hour of sleep. I can't wait till November gets here so we can go back to the regular time as I call it. Take care my friend and have a great day. I hope you are adjusting to the new time change. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Those are some cool clocks! We don't have daylight savings in the state of Queensland where I live. Nan, sweetie I finally got to doing that 6 word memoir you tagged me for. Sorry I took so long! Hope you're having a great week!

This is one reason why I am so glad that we don't change our time here in Saskatchewan. It would more than likely drive me crazy making sure all the clocks were changed.

God bless.

To Christy- Yes, Hoosiers do change their clocks now since last year. Why they couldn't leave it alone, I don't know.

p.s. I have been collecting plates for years for my mosaics. I find them at estate sales, flea markets, thrift stores etc....sometimes I find one or two and sometimes a whole set....

No, mom's not for hire, but when I was complaining about my laundry the other day, she asked me to send it to her. I think she was kidding... at least I hope!
Have a great day sweetie,
Rue :)

It is a big job changing all the clocks ,but worse to change watches with a calendar...my hubby had six to do.
Your Easter table looks so pretty and the bunny plates are so cute, I enjoyed reading all the info about Easter too. Hugs, Linda
