Home show pictures

I thought I would share some pictures from a home show that I went to recently. All the homes were beyond our means. My friend and I decided that we could not afford them if our families lived together. We can dream can't we? The pictures are of several different homes.

A red sofa. I love red.

I absolutely love this kitchen.

The flag and fireplace were in a lower level rec room.

I took the close up of the pink table not only because it was pretty but because it probably has the only thing that house and I both have......the bird. Mine's under my cloche in my coffee table picture.

Good Morning Nan,
Oh Wow!!!! Those houses are just to die for. I know what you mean when you say you couldn't afford one of them. It don't cost anything to look at them either. LOL. If you are going to dream, you might as well dream big. That is what I always say. It is a cold morning here. It is 32 degrees right now. I would love to have me a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and all that good stuff. But I am thankful for what I do have because there are some people that don't have that. Take care my friend and have a great Friday. God Bless You.

Hugs,
Karen H.

I would give my right arm for that kitchen! Wait, scrap that. How would I cook? I'm right handed! But I would love to have it. If I could design my own house it would have walls and doors for the bedroom and bathrooms save for the four support ones. And that kitchen/living room is EXACTLY what I want. Thanks for sharing them and allowing me to dream a little dream!

Love,
Julie

Good morning Nan I hope you have a great one!

I am glad you like my little bird cage I just had to share with all of you. Yes, I plan to change it seasonally since I really like to rearrange my whole house.

I like the pictures and it is just great to dream about things you like. Go girl! Someone said “If you can dream it, you can achieve it”, so keep on dreaming!

Hugs, Suzy

Well, if those aren't just about the most beautiful homes I've ever seen. Gosh, wonder what it's like living every day in a home like that? Bet you had a blast on the tour!!

Nan, I honestly think your rooms are better than those. Yours were done by you for your family. THEY have a human personality. The other ones look like magazines. Yours look like you. BUT, thanks for sharing, always fodder for new ideas. Christy:-)

Dreaming is the best...my friend and I do this all the time, except sometimes we "wake up" and feel sad because we can't fulfill our dreams!! I love red too...and finally have a sofa that has red in it...makes my heart feel happy!!
