Hi Nan! Love that Country Porch picture! That would be my style....if....I decorated much outside. I am not one to freeze my butt off putting a lot of things out, only to freeze again bringing them in come January...hehehe. But if I do decide to brave the elements....it would definitely be country traditional :-)

Great pics, Nan! We go for the more traditional look, white lights and lots of them - but I am always tempted to put a huge blowup Santa on the roof! Our street has a lot of Christmas lights participants and it's wonderful!! I hope to get some good shots this year.

Good Morning Nan,
I hope you have fun putting up the lights there. We haven't decorated the outside. Where we live now, we don't have a big front yard. I did find some lighted garland that we may put on the post in front of our house. I did have alot of wooden decorations for the outside, but due to limited storage space here, I game them to one of my hubby's aunts. I guess I am a tradition decorator. Our tree this year has multi-colored lights with a couple of strands of blue lights left from last year. It really looks beautiful. I also found some homemade decorations that my mom had made me several years back. I've got some under the tree and around the tree. I am still in the process of decorating. Well, take care my friend and have a great Saturday. Have fun decorating. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.

I just can't wait to see your decorated front porch!! It is gonna be a knock-out, I just know.
I am traditional, all the way through. Inside and out. We put the lights on the roof line but this year, it's already so cold and icy here, not sure we'll risk getting up on top of the house.
My inside is traditional, as well. Red, white, green...Christmas colors. No themed tree...just memory tree; things my kids and grandkids have made thru the year.
Got your tree up and decorated yet?
hugs, bj

Oh, those are fun holiday pictures. Hm...I'm certain I am between minimal tradition and reason for the season. But I really love the country porch, too. I love dark wicker. I always laugh when my father puts up their lights, as my mother loves lots and lots and lots of lights, and he says, "The house looks like a *#@ Las Vegas Casino." :) At least this year he's staying off the roof.

Nan,
Love your porch! I suppose I'm a traditional Christmas decorator, with maybe a touch of country. I enjoyed my visit here and will be back.

Nan,
I am traditional all the way. Just a nice wreath on the door and some greens and sumac berries in my urn. Candles in the windows. We are pretty conservative here in New England with the outdoor decorating. Probably a combination of Yankee frugality and frigid temps!! I am so excited to see how all the blogging gals decorate inside and out for the holidays. Let the merrymaking begin!!

What fun pictures, they made me giggle. I'm not sure what my stlye is. I loves the country porch and the front door with the wreath and greenery. Maybe country~traditional, if there is such a thing:). Well I best get busy...just started decorating and Christmas is just around the corner. Linda

Cute post, I am definitely NOT in the blow up Santa category, although my son would probably love that! We do have some reindeer but they are prettier than a blow up variety!

I'm a little bit country and a little bit (no not rocknroll;-))...traditional. I'm on my way to finishing up, tomorrow, hopefully!

Your porch is gorgeous!!

Ok, so what does it mean if you are a mix of everything? lol I think I'm a little confused, but that's nothing new! I have actually been thinking about this lately, that I really don't know what my style is. I like so many different things all at once! Maybe my style should be just called "confusion"?! lol

I'd say a mixture of traditional with a touch of whimsey!

I'm a combination of traditional and country myself.
