This week, I took my old boiled wool sweater and cut it into a stocking. It was very easy to do. I just traced around one of my old stockings allowing for seams. The loop at the top is the band from the sleeve wrist.
I think I did a pretty good job. Doesn't look too different than Martha's below, does it? I'm not her biggest fan, but now and then I see some good ideas. I did mine before I saw this.
Martha Stewart has instructions on this stocking as well as pillows. I have made the pillows, in the past, but I don't have any examples to show you.
