Christmas villages

Good morning. Thanks for all the birthday greetings.
Oh, I just love Christmas villages. These pictures are all from Room Service Home. You can find their site in my sidebar. I love all these pastel looking ones even though mine are traditional colors. I collect Dickens houses but I don't have them all set up yet. I'll post them later.

Good Morning Nan,
Oh I just love those villages. The pastel colors are beautiful. I've never seen villages in that color before. Years ago, I bought my mother a village set. I can't remember the name of it, but it was expensive. I have a couple of villages myself. I have a 3-piece set that my Mother bought me for my first set. Hubby bought me a musical village a few years back from QVC. I still have to put my villages up as well. Hopefully by the end of the week I will have it up. Take care my friend and have a great Tuesday. May God Bless You and Yours. I'm glad you had a great Birthday yesterday.

Hugs,
Karen H.

These are some of the prettiest villages I've seen. I don't have any but someday I would like to start a nice set.
Thanks for sharing these pretty pictures!
Oh, and somewhere I read that blogland is going to share in a Christmas Open House...have you read that? Wonder who is doing it and WHEN? I sure want to join in...sounds like so much fun.
hugs, bj

Oh, they are so lovely! I remember setting up the little houses of cardboard and glitter under our tree as a kid. Sadly, they were all broken or discarded long before I had my own kids...thanks for sharing! Can't wait to see your cillage!

Hey Nan: They are some lovely Christmas villages. I think I may have to get mine out this year....they are in a deep corner of the attic. Can't wait to see what yours look like.

Oh, those are all lovely!

The first set reminds me of the Thomas Kincade print I have featured on my blog.

How nice it would be to have the whole village to set up?!

Have a great day! =)

These are great Nan. I'll have to look at the site.

My village is a mix of different kinds. I have some Dickens and Department 56, mixed in with some Walmart and Michaels. I seem to set them up in a different way each year. I decided to do them on the mantle, this year, to see how they would look with the print of old St Charles hanging over the mantle.

I can't wait to see your village put together!

Happy birthday! :-)

I love villages, too. I have quite a few, but not those sparkley kinds! Mine I think are Dickens, but I didn't even put them up last year. Guess I am simplifying life and decided last year I just didn't want to set them all up. Bah, humbug of me!

I love Room Service Home.

Nan -
I love the villages. Can't wait to see yours. I still have to put up my Currier & Ives village. I put it in two places - city in the living room and country on a counter at the end of the hallway. Works out well and we love to have them in each place.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for leaving your sweet comment. Please stop by again.

I'll be back soon to see what you're up to!
