A couple of gift ideas to make

Every year, I try to come up with new little Christmas gift ideas for my niece and nephew and the neighbors. The niece and nephew get some small gifts to open and I always try to give them some money in a unique way. These are some candy cups that I made last year that had money hidden in one of the wrappers. The candy is taped to wooden skewers and inserted into floral foam.

The neighbors got some peppermint bark, a Christmas candle, towel, and doggie treats. Gotta take care of the dogs. My Bailey the beagle loves to give Mom's homemade treats. His favorite.

I'm currently working on the neighbor's gifts. I'll post as soon as I'm done with them. Haven't done the kid's yet.

Good Morning Nan,
Thanks for stopping by. I am just now getting up. I slept in this morning. It is cold here this morning. It is 34 degrees and I have no idea what the windchill is. All I know is it is cold. We had a great Thanksgiving. We all ate too much as usual. LOL. We put our Christmas tree up yesterday evening. It is beautiful. I am planning on posting some pictures in the next few days. I love those gifts you made from last year. I'm not the crafty type, so I couldn't do anything like that. I hope you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving also. Well, take care my friend and have a great Friday. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.

Isn't it fun to remember others at the holiday season? And to find unique ways to present gifts...love the idea of how you hide the money!! I'll bet the kids go through the candy quickly to find the hidden treasure!!
