Fancy Nancy

T*mmy @ Gentle Retreat challenged us to go to Amazon.com and search for a book title that came up with our name.
I have seen these cute books before and I just love them. I was often called this as a child. See, you learned one more thing about me.

Anyone else that wants to take the challenge, GO FOR IT!

I found one simply called Julie about a young girl from PA. How cool is that? It revolves around the impact on the steel mill shutting down. Gee, I wouldn't know anything about that subject.

Love,
Julie

Good Morning Nan,
Thank you so much for stopping by yesterday and this morning. I will add you to my blogroll later on when I am done visiting. I usually try to visit everyone on my blogroll everyday. Sometimes they haven't posted when I'm visiting, so I wait till they post and then go visit. It has done turned cold here. I tried that book thingy yesterday and there were over 1,000 books with Karen. I didn't really have time to search through all of them. I didn't really see one that I did like, so I may go do it again later on today. I had fun yesterday visiting all those on Tammy's list. It did keep my busy for a while. LOL. Well, take care my friend and have a Blessed Thursday and may God Bless You.

Hugs,
Karen H.

Nan - Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog. I visited yours very early this morning when I was 'wandering' in blogland. I can't remember where I was when I found you. I love your new blog and I will be back often. Please stop by and visit me again soon.

I tried to find a book with my name in it and I found ONE that I didn't want to associate myself with. There are several authors with my first name but I didn't know enough about them to want to feature them on my blog. One cute children's book by an author named Adrienne was called "Otters". I thought of featuring it and then you could just call me 'Otter'!

I'll be back soon. ~Adrienne~

Hello, and thank you for stopping in at my blog. Welcome to blogland - it's a nice place to hang out and meet new people.

I once found a series of books about a girl named Alanna (my daughter's name) who was an adventuresome 12 year old (just like my daughter at the time). They were a big hit!
