It's my party!

This is my second post today. I forgot that I was gonna post this today. (Dumb blonde moment) Today's the day. Yep, another birthday. My DH surprised me with an early BD cake on Thanksgiving Day since we were gathered with family. Oh my gosh, I have enough sugar in me to last a lifetime. But, it was very sweet of him (no pun intended) to get the cake as I have commented that I rarely get one anymore since my birthday and Thanksgiving are about the same time.
I am reminded of an e mail that I received recently about a Walmart cake. The person asked for the cake to read "Best Wishes, Suzanne" and underneath that "We will miss you ". Well, they did EXACTLY what they asked for!!! He he.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!
I hope you have a wonderful day. Don't you just love how Wal-Mart does things? Take care my friend and enjoy your day.

Hugs,
Karen H.
P.S. That was so nice of your hubby to get you a cake. It doens't really matter what it looks like, it's the thought behind it. Sure do wish someone would make or buy me a cake for my birthdays. LOL.

Happy Birthday!! That email was hilarious. I first saw that on Sandi's blog and laughed then and I'm still laughing.

Your plates are gorgeous and I'm totally coveting them. As for the ham gravy, this was something my GF Holly and her mom taught me. Made the same way as regular gravy just with the drippings from the ham. It's delicious!!

Love,
Julie

Nan,
Happy Birthday!! I loved that Walmart cake and of course being a spelling fanatic I caught the typo right away. Hope Suzanne had a good birthday despite the cake; repeat after me Suzanne...it's the thought that counts, it's the thought...

Belated birthday wishes, Nan. sorry I missed your official day. I,too, was wondering as I read the cake inscription. Then I read the post and I'm still laughing. I've done dumb things, too, so I shouldn't laugh too much.
