Sock it to me!

I love finding stocking stuffers for Christmas. There are so many fun stockings to fill. Those with toile, curled up toes, even doggie stockings. I like to fill them with movie tickets, candy, small tools, doggie bones, small picture frames, hand-held games, and more socks! What do you put in your stockings?

Oh, what cute Christmas stockings! My kids are 16 and 20 now, so I usually put candy, gloves, socks, gift cards, etc. whjen they were little, I always put disposable cameras, so they could take pics on Christmas morning. I also give them each a Christmas ornament each year, so they will have their own collections when they move out!

From the time my daughter was young I put Bonne Belle Lip Smackers in her stocking every year. This past year I was in the middle of packing to move and didn't do a stocking for her. What did she miss most about that Christmas - Lip Smackers!!

Nan, this is great! Your front porch is definitely beautiful and welcoming!

Stockings stuffers? I always used to put small toys, candy, jewelry, nail polish and other young girly things like that!

WELL, GREAT BALLS OF FIRE...this blog is just perfect, as I knew it would be!
Stockings are a hugh part of our Christmas and always have been. Everyone hurrys to open their gifts so they can get to their stockings. With 17 stockings hanging by the fireplace (yes, all 11 g-kids and 6 adults have one), I seldom need any more decorations.
This looks fantastic, Nan.

Oh the stockings are wonderful. Stockings ALWAYS measn oranges, nuts and candy along with assorted brain twister games. The weirdest thing I ever got was a silver paper dress when I was 21. My Mom had a great sense of humor! Still miss her so much. Christy427

I love all your stockings but my favorite one is Bailey's socking. I have one for Julie that is in the shape of a big carrot. I fill it with toys and special treats for her. She will crawl in it to get any remaining crumbs. Your front porch is going to look gorgeous decorated for the holidays. I can hardly wait to see it. HH Alice

SHOOT...I wish all my stocking looked this nice and pulled together. Mine are all colors, shapes and sizes...Wonder why I didn't try to at least get some kind of order with them?? Well, I sure am not going to start all over but, then, again.....I just might!
